DataThe data added to the tracker by the School is the property of the School. The tracker merely stores it and makes it available for viewing. NA claims no ownership of the data stored within the system that is added by the School. This includes names, emails, phone numbers, time and notes collected for student sessions, and other information. If the School chooses to stop using the tracker, the data will be available for 3 months following the agreed termination date. NA will provide an export of any data requested by the School. NA agrees not to share or sell the student or user data in any way.
SecurityThe Tracker is a Software as a Service platform, which is hosted on a dedicated server in a secure facility. The server is leased through HostDime, which Data is transferred securely and sensitive data is stored hashed/encrypted. This includes student id numbers and passwords for users and students. Data such as names, email addresses and phone numbers are stored as text. Times and notes for study hall sessions are related by a numerical id to the student, so their name is not stored directly with the stored session information unless it has been entered in the notes section.
UseThe School does not own the software. Rather, the fees associated with the one-time and yearly payments provide a license to the school to use the service. This license entitles the School to use the software and request support as needed. All updates made to the system will be made available once they have been completed and released. If there is an extended amount of downtime for the tracker or it is unusable due to either server issues or software issues, a discount will be applied to the following yearly fees. NA will not be delivering copies of the software to the School as a part of the service as the software is accessible via a standard internet browser.
The School is able to create as many users as needed. There are no restrictions to the number of users, students, semesters or study hall sessions stored in the system. There are no per use or extra fees tied to the amount of data stored in the system. There are no fees besides the one-time fee and the yearly fees.
